ECO is the AC-coupled plug-in variant with no PV/MPPT input (PV is Hybrid-only). Per-inverter AC output scales with modules: ~800 W default / 1000 W max on the built-in module alone, stepping up to 2400 W (2400 VA) once one or more expansion batteries are added (datasheet: '2400VA with exp battery', '1000W without'). The 800 W figure is the default socket/grid cap, not the hardware ceiling. A full system of 3 parallel inverters (each needing >=2 expansion batteries) can reach 7200 W and 36 kWh per iotdomotica/thuisbatterij; the official single-unit ECO listing caps a single stack at 12 kWh (2 kWh base + 5x ~2 kWh modules). Round-trip efficiency conflict: energienerds measured 80.5% at 800 W, iotdomotica states 81%. Usable capacity % not published (modules rated ~2009.6 Wh each). Backup/UPS: noodstroom output present (up to 1000 W base / 2400 W with modules); energienerds noted island-mode UPS auto-switchover was pending a firmware update (announced ~April 2026), so backup may have switchover caveats. Warranty 10 years or 8000 cycles. Weight 22 kg base power module, ~20 kg per added battery module.
